Refund Policy

Happy Foundation treats every donation with care and gratitude. Because contributions are typically deployed quickly into our programs, donations are generally considered final. The following policy explains the limited circumstances in which a refund may be requested.
1. Eligibility for Refund
A refund may be considered in the following cases:
- You were charged more than once for the same donation due to a technical error.
- The amount debited from your account is different from the amount you intended to donate.
- You can demonstrate that the donation was made by mistake (for example, an incorrect amount entered).
- The transaction is fraudulent or unauthorised and reported promptly.
2. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email manasranjansamal744@gmail.com or call +91 63714 90862 within 7 days of the transaction with the following details:
- Full name and registered email/phone used for the donation.
- Donation amount and date.
- Transaction/reference ID from the payment confirmation.
- Reason for the refund request.
3. Processing
- Refund requests are reviewed within 5 business days.
- Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 7–10 business days, subject to your bank's timelines.
- Any tax-exemption receipt issued for the donation will be cancelled and cannot be used for tax benefits.
4. Non-Refundable Situations
- Requests made after 7 days from the transaction date.
- Donations where funds have already been disbursed to beneficiaries or program partners.
- Voluntary change of mind after a successful, intentional donation.
5. Failed Transactions
If a donation fails but your account is debited, the amount is automatically reversed by your bank, generally within 5–10 business days. No separate request is required for such auto-reversals.
